China Conch Environment Expects Drop in H1 Profit, Revenue; Shares Fall 3%

China Conch Environment Protection (HKG:0587) expects to report a drop in its first-half profit and revenue, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Monday.
Shares of the waste treatment services provider fell nearly 3% in morning trade Tuesday.
The company said it expects attributable profit of between 2 million yuan to 8 million yuan for the six months ended June 30, compared to 82.1 million yuan in the year-ago period.
Revenue for the first six months of the year is expected to be 760 million yuan to 800 million yuan, versus 804 million yuan a year earlier.
China Conch Environment expects to report its financial results by the end of August.
