路透7月23日 - 美国联邦航空管理局（Federal Aviation Administration）周三以空中交通管制员人手不足为由，同意将纽约市拥堵机场最低飞行要求的削减期限延长至 2026 年 10 月。
根据最低飞行要求，航空公司如果至少有 80% 的时间没有使用拥挤机场的起降时段，就可能失去这些时段。联邦航空管理局的豁免允许航空公司减少 10% 的航班。
