Botswana Wants Controlling Stake in Anglo American's De Beers, FT Says, Citing Mining Minister

--Botswana's government wants to take a controlling stake in the diamond miner De Beers, the Financial Times reports, after speaking to the country's mining minister Bogolo Kenewendo.

--The country owns a 15% stake in the business which Anglo American is looking to sell or list on the stock market, the FT says

--A representative of Anglo American said the company was engaging with the country regularly at all stages of the process of either selling or listing and demerging its 85% shareholding in De Beers, the FT reports.
