2025年《财富》中国500强排行榜对外发布，该榜单采用与《财富》世界500强一脉相承的制榜方法，以2024年营业收入为基准，同时包括了上市和非上市企业。具体到汽车领域，整车企业共有18家上榜，汽车零部件企业有15家，另外还有中升、永达两家汽车零售领域企业上榜。其中，比亚迪排名最为靠前，位于第27位；赛力斯则是今年榜单上排位跃升幅度最大的，位居第169位，排名较去年上升235个位次。动力电池头部企业宁德时代的排名较去年下降9个位次，位列第77位，但净利润领先于其他整车及零部件企业。
造车新势力中，理想、蔚来、小鹏均上榜，且排名均有提升。尤其是蔚来，从去年的第312位跃升至269位；小鹏则从第452位跃升至351位。零跑是今年新上榜的企业，排在第423位。不过，值得注意的是，除了理想外，上述另外3家造车新势力均出现在榜单的“亏损公司”列表中，尤其是蔚来较为靠前，以-31.49亿美元位居亏损列表的第六位，也是亏损“十强”中唯一一家车企，其他都是房地产公司。
