彭博引述消息人士称，中远海运集团准备加入贝莱德与地中海航运(MSC)牵头财团，收购长和(0001.HK)旗下包括巴拿马运河在内的43个港口资产，中远海运要求在财团中拥有否决权或同等权力，以确保中国批准此次交易。 据悉，中远海运认为拥有否决权力将能阻止任何潜在损害中国利益的决定，目前长和以及相关财团已同意中远海运可拥有与营运有关的全面资讯获取权，但有关中远海运其他权力的谈判仍在进行，尚未做出最终决定。
