领展(00823.HK) 管理层于股东周年大会后会见传媒，被问及未来是否会再次裁员，领展首席执行官王国龙以种花作比喻，认为“修剪枝叶”属惯常做法，又指是艰难的决定，犹如2023年初宣布供股时外界亦有很多不同意见，如今公司财务状况强健，期望通过重整架构为下一阶段增长做好准备。
谈到领展新任首席执行官人选，主席欧敦勤表示，董事会一致认为继任者需具备国际房地产投资经验，同时要熟悉中国内地及香港的商业环境，在私募及公开市场中拥有公认的成功投资经历，并要拥有高度诚信及强大领导力，心系社区，才可为持份者及股东创造价值。
他又指出，任何公司都不应轻视裁员，强调领展非常认真地对待所有架构调整工作，而目前租金收入及实体零售均面临压力，认为确保资源配置与公司未来发展规划相匹配属基本企业管治工作。
