瑞银发布研报称，长和预计将于8月中旬公布中期业绩，该行预期上半年撇除一次性项目的基本溢利将按年增长6%至109亿元，中期股息亦按年增加6%，主要受惠于港口与零售业务的稳健表现；以及美元年初至今疲弱，抵销旗下能源公司Cenovus业务受油价下跌的负面影响。然而，帐面净利润可能受英国电信合并完成后的一次性成本拖累，包括达86亿元的汇兑损失及交易费用。
报告还指出，预期上半年长和的港口业务在高基数下仍将保持强劲，EBITDA按年增长4%，主要受关税生效前的运输需求推动，带动吞吐量增长与仓储收入上升。零售业务方面，欧洲及其他亚洲地区的增长可抵销中国香港与中国市场疲软，EBITDA料按年增长3%。基础建设业务EBITDA预计稳健增长2%，受惠于去年下半年2项新收购的贡献。
