Desert Metals (ASX:DM1) has completed ground geophysics survey at the Tiogo and Kakologo gold prospects on its Tengrela South Gold Project in northern Côte d'Ivoire, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The survey used a geophysical technique called gradient array induced polarization, which revealed a clear north-south structural corridor at both Tiogo and Kakologo, where previous aircore drilling had found gold on the northern edge of this corridor.
Desert Metals is planning follow-up drilling for the fourth quarter of the year after the northern wet season.
The company added that diamond drilling continues at King Kong prospect on the Adzope gold project in southern Cote d'Ivoire with first results expected by mid-August.
