AVJennings to Suspend Trading Following Court Approval of Acquisition

AVJennings (ASX:AVJ) said the Supreme Court of New South Wales on Wednesday approved its proposed acquisition of PM Nominees and AVID and related parties, by way of a scheme of arrangement, according to a same-day Australian bourse filing.
The company intends to lodge a copy of the court orders with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission for the scheme to become legally effective on July 24.
The company said it will apply for its shares to be suspended from trading on the Australian Securities Exchange and quotation on Singapore Exchange GlobalQuote with effect from the close of trade on July 24.
The company's shares rose nearly 2% in recent Wednesday trade.
