智通财经APP获悉，据加拿大丰业银行分析师指出，Palo Alto Networks(PANW.US)可能收购SentinelOne(S.US)的交易将意味着这家网络安全巨头“重大战略转型”，这将成为该公司有史以来规模最大的并购案。
“这笔高达100亿美元的交易规模，将彻底改变Palo Alto Networks过去偏重于小型、易整合的‘补充型收购’战略，”丰业银行分析师Patrick Colville在周二的研报中写道，“根据我们的测算，若公司自由现金流利润率因此下降约2个百分点，不知投资者将作何反应。”
此番分析源于周一的报道，称业内猜测Palo Alto可能正在洽谈收购SentinelOne。两家公司均以“不对市场传言置评”为由，拒绝发表评论。受此消息影响，SentinelOne股价周一暴涨9.83%，周二回落2.68%;Palo Alto周二则下跌1.58%。
丰业银行Colville指出，2018至2025年间，Palo Alto Networks已完成16笔总额超42亿美元的战略收购，堪称“网络安全领域最激进的收购策略之一”，但此前均为补充型收购。
分析师补充道，收购SentinelOne(NYSE:S)对Palo Alto具有战略合理性，鉴于SIEM市场份额可能重新洗牌，此举将“极大增强其XSIAM平台的市场竞争力”。
