Odaily星球日报讯 Merlin Chain 公布全新 Merlin 2.0，提出“Reinvent Bitcoin：Hold, Earn, Invest”的发展方向，致力于将比特币从“价值储藏”扩展为“可收益、可部署的核心资产”。Merlin 2.0 聚焦 BTCFi 扩展、链抽象技术与 AI 应用（如 Merlin Wizard 等）三大方向，进一步提升 BTC 在多链生态中的流动性与实用性，同时降低降低 BTC 使用门槛，让用户无需兑换其他资产即可跨链参与各类投资机会，便捷实现 BTC 持有、收益获取与流动性参与。 此前报道，自 2024 年 2 月主网上线以来，Merlin Chain 推动了 BTCFi 的兴起，催生了包括 Solv、Bedrock、Avalon、Babylon 等多个代表性项目，链上曾累计质押超 38 亿美元 BTC。目前 Merlin 相关生态贡献了约 20 亿美元 BTCFi TVL，占比超过 20%。
