高盛策略师David Kostin预期，鉴于蓝筹盈利表现强劲及投资者对明年增长前景看法乐观，标普500指数未来12个月将再升10%，目标为6900点。标指上周在蓝筹业绩消息刺激下造好，距离纪录高位仅一步之遥。Kostin认为，即使关税风险仍未能抹杀，但忧虑已大幅降温，投资者对经济及企业盈利看法有所好转，成为推动美股再升的主要原因。美国经济未来数季预料有较预期良好的表现，对经济周期较敏感的行业，相信将成为升市主要动力来源。 Kostin也指出，美元汇价疲弱对美股带来正面影响，因为跨国企业盈利将因为汇兑收益而上升。美汇指数今年以来累计下跌7%，高盛估计今年底前将再跌4%。他预计，美汇下滑10%，将带动标指盈利上升2%至3%。另一方面，贸易冲突仍将影响股市前景，尽管特朗普关税最终应较预期为低。另外，就业市场疲弱及消费开支转弱也是负面影响因素。
