Foresight News 消息，据 Cointelegraph 报道，Consensys 表示，其已注意到部分 MetaMask 用户报告“异常高的磁盘活动”，并将很快发布修复程序。此前，用户 ripper31337 在 6 月 24 日的 GitHub 错误报告中指出，在 Chromium 内核浏览器（如 Chrome、Edge 和 Opera）上重新安装 MetaMask 扩展程序后，发现该程序在后台持续向固态硬盘（SSD）写入数据，且无需用户交互。这种“异常磁盘写入”以每秒 5M 的速度进行，每天总计 500G 字节，三个月内累计达 25 TB。
