Deep Yellow (ASX:DYL) said it is continuing detailed engineering, procurement, and operational planning as part of early works infrastructure development at its Tumas Project in Namibia, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The company said contracts are at an advanced stage for key power and water utility services and associated infrastructure, and the early works program preparing the site for the launch of major onsite works is largely completed.

An operational readiness plan is being detailed to prepare for pre-production mining, process plant commissioning, and the ramp-up of operations to full production levels, the filing added.

The company added that it is continuing to advance project financing.
