Wildcat Resources (ASX:WC8) said metallurgical drilling at its Tabba Tabba lithium-tantalum project in Western Australia confirmed that lithium mineralization begins from just below the surface, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The company encountered intercepts of 19.5 meters at 1.5% grade of lithium oxide from 12 meters, as well as 87 meters at 1.3% grade of lithium oxide from 91 meters.
The firm plans to finalize the pre-feasibility study for the project and progress the definitive feasibility study, per the filing.
