路透新加坡7月21日 - 新加坡央行周一表示，将向三家资产管理公司投资 11 亿坡元（8.5636 亿美元），作为 50 亿坡元证券市场发展计划的一部分。更多的联合投资将在今年晚些时候宣布。
新加坡金融管理局去年 8 月成立股市检讨小组，旨在提出建议措施，促进新加坡股票市场的发展。
第一批证券市场发展计划（EQDP）下的三家资产管理公司包括Avanda Investment Management、摩根资产管理和富敦资金管理（Fullerton Fund Management）。富敦资金管理由新加坡主权基金淡马锡（Temasek）所有。
自该计划于2月宣布以来，金管局接获超过100份来自全球、区域和本地资产经理人的申请，当局将在今年第四季宣布第二批资产经理人。
今年 2 月，新加坡金管局和金融行业发展基金（FSDF）宣布，这项 50 亿坡元的计划将投资于由新加坡资产管理公司管理的策略，这些策略 "将重点放在新加坡上市股票上，并将投资者参与范围扩大至大盘股以外"。
