Cannindah Resources (ASX:CAE) said that the evaluation of historical drill data, as well as recent surface mapping and sampling at its Mt. Cannindah copper-gold project in Queensland, identified potential mineralized breccia extensions outside the current mineral resource estimate, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
It plans to conduct drilling to test these target areas.
The review also identified features within and beyond the mineral resource estimate that control the locations of higher-grade copper mineralization, which will be used to guide future drill targeting.
Its shares jumped 9% in recent trading on Tuesday.
