路透7月22日 - 据《西雅图时报》周二报道，波音公司BA.N已开始生产其最新型货运飞机 777-8。
该飞机的有效载荷为112.3吨，于2022年首次在白宫 (link)。
波音公司当时表示，卡塔尔航空公司将是首批客户，将订购 34 架喷气式飞机，另有 16 架飞机的选择权，总采购价为 200 亿美元。
报道称，波音公司最初表示，他们预计 将于 2027 年交付第一架飞机 ，但这一时间被推迟了一年。
波音公司网站称，在777X系列飞机中，777-8货机的每吨运营成本最低，燃油效率最高，二氧化碳排放量最低。
