路透7月22日 - 现在外汇市场趋于平静，有五种货币可能值得考虑进行套利交易。
主要市场的波动性已大幅减弱。主要股市和比特币等高投机性资产屡创新高，表明风险偏好明显升温，因此同样具有风险的套利交易可能会有不错的表现。
如果是这样的话，那么墨西哥比索、南非兰特和匈牙利福林等少数几种自由浮动且收益较高的货币可能会受到支持。
相比之下，日圆和瑞郎因利率最低而受到削弱，在对利差交易有利的环境下更有可能下跌。
日本央行的债券购买计划以及瑞士央行抑制瑞郎升值的意愿，都为使用这两种货币进行套利交易提供了资金支持。
通过使用日圆或瑞郎作为融资货币，投资者正在优化其投资货币的潜力，当外汇市场低迷时，这些货币应该会给投资者带来回报。
虽然这些交易的目的不是从汇率的变动中获利，但如果它们越来越受欢迎，那么对极少数既能自由浮动又能获得高收益的货币的需求就有可能在低迷时期提升它们的价值，从而提高收益。
