英国金融时报报道称，电商集团亚马逊将关闭其在上海的人工智能研究院，成为在地缘政治紧张局势不断加剧之际，最新一家撤走中国研究部门的美国公司。
在亚马逊撤出中国市场之前，包括IBM和微软在内的美国科技企业也采取了类似举措。随着美国官员加强对所有与中国有关的人工智能工作的审查，这些公司缩减了在中国的研发努力。
亚马逊云科技上海 AI 研究院科学家王敏捷在社交媒体上发文称，他的团队“由于中美紧张局势中的战略调整而被解散”。
