Starbucks Workers Lose Challenge to Remove Labor Board Tenure Protection

Two Starbucks (SBUX) workers lost a bid to remove statutory tenure protections for National Labor Relations Board members as a federal appeals court dismissed the case on Tuesday.

The US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit ruled it lacked jurisdiction because both the workers and the NLRB agreed the protections are unconstitutional, eliminating the necessary legal adversity to hear the case.
