中银国际发表报告指，中国政府于上周末正式宣布建设雅鲁藏布江水电站。该项目总投资约1.2万亿元人民币，建设周期长达17年，最早可于2035年投入营运。电站总装机容量达6,000万千瓦，年发电量预计为3,000亿千瓦时。其年发电量与装机容量分别是长江三峡水电站的3倍和2.67倍。
