消息面上，国家发展改革委副主任王昌林7月23日在国新办发布会上表示，关于海南自贸港封关的具体时间，经党中央批准，定于2025年12月18日正式启动。万联证券此前指出，封关对离岛免税政策定位及业务影响仍存不确定性。一方面，封关将提升海南整体吸引力和国际游客流量，为离岛免税带来新的客源；另一方面，进口商品整体价格下降可能削弱免税品价格优势，且“一线放开”将加剧免税市场的国际竞争。
华创证券此前发布研报称，2024年美兰空港实现归母净亏损3.8亿，主要是由于二期扩建项目相关资产的折旧摊销和运营费用增加及仲裁赔偿等因素影响；随着海南自贸港2025年底前实现封关运作、二期产能持续爬坡，美兰空港的经营状况将逐步改善，从而增厚公司业绩。值得注意的是，海南机场拟收购美兰空港控股权。交易完成后，海南机场及香港全资子公司将合计持有美兰空港至少50.19%的股权，成为美兰空港的控股股东。
