UScellular has announced its intention to issue a special dividend following the sale of its wireless operations and select spectrum assets to T-Mobile US, Inc. The expected dividend will be in the range of $22.50 to $23.75 per share, translating to an aggregate amount between $1.950 billion and $2.075 billion. This announcement is contingent upon the successful closing of the sale and subject to board approval. Additionally, UScellular revealed plans to change its name to Array Digital Infrastructure, Inc. post-closing, with Doug Chambers appointed as interim CEO of the newly rebranded company.
