ChainCatcher 消息，据 Decrypt 报道，Twitter 联创 Jack Dorsey 旗下支付平台 Block Inc 已于昨日被纳入标准普尔 500 指数。Block（股票代码：XYZ）最初成立于 2009 年，名为 Square，最初专注于提供金融服务和移动支付解决方案。2021 年 12 月，该公司更名为 Block Inc.，反映出其对区块链技术和数字资产日益增长的兴趣和参与度。
其支付平台 Square 开始为首批商户提供比特币支付服务。该服务利用比特币闪电网络（Lightning Network）技术，使商家能够通过 Square 硬件设备直接接受比特币支付，实现近乎即时、低成本的交易处理。
