Firetail Resources (ASX:FTL) raised landholding at the Excelsior gold project in Nevada, which strengthened its strategic position in the Walker Lane gold belt, it said on Friday.
The mineral exploration company said that with help from Athena Gold it managed to stake additional land alongside the project.
The staked area has the potential to house notable gold mineralization in the region, specifically near the Goldfield mineral field, it added.
