Leshan Electric Power's (SHA:600644) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first half fell 15% to 7.9 million yuan from 9.2 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Friday disclosure on the Shanghai bourse.
Earnings per share dropped 19% year on year to 0.0139 yuan from 0.0172 yuan.
The Chinese hydroelectric power distributor's total operating income rose 1.9% to 1.62 billion yuan from 1.59 billion yuan in the previous year, the disclosure said.
The company's shares declined over 3% during afternoon trade.
