Menon Bearings' Consolidated Net Profit Grows in Fiscal Q1; Shares Jump 9%

Menon Bearings' (NSE:MENONBE, BOM:523828) consolidated net profit rose to 84.3 million Indian rupees in the fiscal first quarter ended June 30 against 61.6 million rupees a year ago.

Earnings per share came in at 1.50 rupees compared with 1.10 rupees a year earlier, the bearings manufacturer said in a Friday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

Revenue from operations in fiscal Q1 also increased to 672.1 million rupees from 576.9 million rupees a year earlier.

The company's board declared an interim dividend of 2 rupees per equity share of face value of 1 rupee each for the financial year 2025-26.

The company's shares were up over 9% in recent trade.
