A winding-up petition hearing against China Ecotourism Group (HKG:1371) has been further adjourned to Sept. 29 by the Hong Kong High Court, a July 25 Hong Kong bourse filing said.
It was hit with a winding-up petition by the Hong Kong branch of a creditor bank in March over an alleged outstanding debt of roughly HK$78.5 million.
Separately, the court has granted the company permission to convene a creditors' meeting to consider a proposed scheme of arrangement. The meeting is tentatively set for Sept. 24, with a sanction hearing scheduled for Oct. 15.
Shares of the company surged nearly 23% in Monday's recent trade.
