据《科创板日报》从京东科技相关人士处获悉，京东已经成立了智能机器人事业部，隶属于 3C 家电事业部。
IT之家注意到，7 月 21 日京东完成对千寻智能、逐际动力、众擎机器人三家公司的投资，均为机器人企业，属于具身智能业内明星标的。而在 2025 年 5 月，京东也参与了智元机器人的新一轮融资，与其共同“出手”的资方还包括上海具身智能基金、上汽、TCL、红杉中国等。
据上证报 2025 年 3 月 24 日报道，京东已经确认成立具身智能业务部门，侧重家用场景。同在 3 月，京东探索研究院还也发布消息称，团队已构建出国内首个双臂移动机器人操作数据集 JD ManiData，并进行开源，同时联合多家机构推出了基于三轮数据驱动的原子技能库构建框架。
在 2025 世界人工智能大会（WAIC）期间，京东正式宣布旗下大模型品牌升级为 JoyAI。京东同步推出附身智能品牌 JoyInside，通过接入 JoyAI 大模型为机器人、玩具等终端设备注入高情商交互能力，支持角色定制与多场景应用。该品牌已与十余家头部机器人、AI 玩具品牌合作，产品涵盖快递机器人、机器狗、AI 潮玩及儿童陪伴 AI 伙伴等。
