Lachlan Star (ASX:LSA) found gold mineralization during a recent drilling at its Killaloe gold project in Western Australia.
The results were up to nine meters at 2.11 grams per tonne grade of gold from 81 meters, including two meters at 8.6 g/t from 83 meters.
Assay results are still pending for the final two of the 12 reverse circulation (RC) holes completed.
The company has planned a follow-up program of deeper RC and diamond drilling to further test the Duke and Duchess Prospects of the project, along with reconnaissance AC drilling across the broader Project area, to evaluate additional high-potential targets.
The Company has lodged two new exploration license applications, increasing the Killaloe Gold Project footprint to about 137 square kilometers.
