就有传闻指长江基建(01038.HK) 已签订协议出售UK Rails，集团主席李泽钜回应指，有买有卖，生意才能做得更大，并指出公司一向不喜欢借贷，遂不时储备资金进行更大的交易。
UK Rails现由长江基建、长实(01113.HK) 、电能实业(00006.HK) 及长和(00001.HK) 共同持有，当中长江基建持股65%。
