Balkan Mining and Minerals (ASX:BMM) said it is set to begin fieldwork at its Desert Star North project in California, which is located in a corridor prospective for rare earth elements and gold, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
Recent satellite imagery analysis identified multiple high-priority targets, and the firm will test these targets with fieldwork.
It plans to analyze the geochemical data to define priority exploration targets.
