据彭博新闻报道，摩根士丹利成为首家进入中国熊猫债券市场的美国公司，发行了20亿元人民币（合2.79亿美元）的债券。
据知情人士透露，摩根士丹利旗下投资管理部门Morgan Stanley BV周四将其五年期债券的收益率定在1.98%。由于涉及尚未公开的事务，知情人士要求不具名。这比同类人民币计价公司债券的平均收益率高出约5个基点。根据彭博汇编的数据，这是美国公司发行的首只熊猫债券。
