智通财经APP讯，广深铁路(601333.SH)发布公告，公司于2025年7月25日与广州市人民政府(简称“广州市政府”)、中国铁路广州局集团有限公司(简称“广铁集团”)就广州东站改造工程签订了《广州东站改造项目合作协议》。按照“地上+地下贯通”、14台24线的规模改造，项目总投资约166.6亿元(最终以实际批复为准，不含广州市独资的广州东站同体市政配套工程投资)。
广州东站改造如能顺利实施完成，将增强广州东站的高铁、城际动车接发能力，促进高铁引入广州中心城区，提升旅客乘车便利与出行体验，推动公司客运业务顺应高铁新时代实现长远可持续高质量发展带来积极影响。
