万代南梦宫控股与索尼集团7月24日签署战略业务联盟协议。索尼还与万代南梦宫现有股东达成协议，以约680亿日元收购其持有的1600万股万代南梦宫股份。收购完成后，索尼将持有万代南梦宫已发行股份总数的约2.5％。两家公司计划利用索尼在动漫及其他影像内容制作、发行以及周边商品销售等领域的优势，扩大基于万代南梦宫知识产权的作品、产品和服务。此外，双方还将深入洽谈动漫等知识产权的联合开发和推广，以及体验式娱乐的规划与技术合作。
