Amazon.com (AMZN) has canceled plans for a 300 million euros ($351.8 million) industrial plant in Dublin after failing to secure electricity supply, The Irish Times reported Friday.
The proposed facility in Ballycoolin would have created over 500 jobs and expanded Amazon's footprint near the Co Meath border, the report said.
Amazon Web Services intended to use the site to manufacture server racks used in AI-focused data centers, the report added.
Amazon did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
