Sensient Technologies Corporation, a leader in flavors and colors for the food, pharmaceutical, and personal care markets, has reported its financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2025. The company experienced a reported revenue increase of 2.7%, reaching $414.2 million, compared to $403.5 million in the same quarter of the previous year. On a local currency basis, revenue increased by 2.1%. The company's reported operating income rose by 16.2% to $57.7 million from $49.7 million in the second quarter of 2024. Additionally, Sensient recorded $3.3 million in costs related to its Portfolio Optimization Plan during this period, compared to $1.8 million in the previous year. Local currency adjusted operating income and local currency adjusted EBITDA saw increases of 16.9% and 14.1%, respectively. Reported earnings per share $(EPS)$ increased by 20.5%, reaching 88 cents in the second quarter of 2025, up from 73 cents in the same period of 2024. The local currency adjusted diluted EPS rose by 20.8%.
