US State Dept OKs potential sale of air defense sustainment to Ukraine

WASHINGTON, July 24 (Reuters) - The U.S. State Department has potential approved military sales, including air defense sustainment, to Ukraine for $330 million, the Pentagon said on Thursday.

The package includes M109 self-propelled howitzer maintenance, repair and overhaul Capability for $150 million and air defense sustainment for $180 million, the Pentagon said in a statement.

The contractors included BAE Systems BAES.L, Allison Transmission, Daimler Truck North America, Sierra Nevada Corporation, Radionix and Systems Electronic Export, according to the Pentagon.
