Carbon Revolution plc, a leading global manufacturer of carbon fiber wheels, has announced the release of US$5 million from Orion Infrastructure Capital as part of a US$25 million facility, alongside a US$400,000 reserve release from existing lenders. This funding concludes the full release of the US$25 million facility initially announced in December 2024 and brings total reserves released to US$2 million. As part of this financial arrangement, the company will issue penny warrants to OIC and existing noteholders, allowing them to purchase an aggregate of 5% of the company's outstanding shares. Both OIC and the lenders have agreed to partial in-kind payments for certain interest obligations over the next six months. Despite new programs on the horizon, Carbon Revolution has adjusted its revenue forecasts downward due to a decline in projected wheel orders and anticipates the need for additional funding within the next quarter. Discussions for further financial support are ongoing.
