United States Cellular (USM) said late Thursday it will change its name to Array Digital Infrastructure and its NYSE ticker to "AD" after completing the sale of its wireless operations to T-Mobile US (TMUS) on Aug. 1.
The firm also said it has appointed Douglas Chambers as interim president and chief executive officer of the post-closing business. Chambers currently serves as executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of the company.
United States Cellular shares were up over 3% in recent trading.
