In addition to its financial performance, Pilgrim's Pride highlighted its ongoing growth strategy, including the announcement of a new state-of-the-art prepared foods plant. This development aims to diversify the company's product portfolio and support growth in higher-margin branded products within the U.S. retail and food service sectors. The new facility is expected to create over 630 jobs and increase U.S. Prepared Foods sales by over 40% from current levels. The Board of Directors has also approved a special dividend of approximately $500 million, or $2.10 per share, reflecting the company's strong liquidity position and balance sheet flexibility.
