Science Applications International Signs Deal With Alphabet's Google to Train Personnel

Science Applications International (SAIC) said Wednesday it formed a partnership with Google Public Sector, a division of Alphabet's Google (GOOGL, GOOG) Cloud.

The company said it will use Google Cloud's technology to train and certify its personnel, and that its goal is to have 1,000 trained employees in cloud technology.

The partnership combines Science Application's expertise in the defense, intelligence, and civilian sectors with Google Cloud's AI and machine learning tools to provide public sector clients with the ability to use AI to process data and generate real-time insights, the company said.

The collaboration also seeks to boost operational efficiency for clients by automating tasks via AI-driven applications as well as strengthen security and compliance by leveraging Google Cloud's platform.
