Resideo Technologies (REZI) said Wednesday it plans to separate its ADI Global Distribution business through a tax-free spin-off to shareholders.
The company said its Products & Solutions business would continue to operate as Resideo, while the ADI spin-off would become an independent public company.
The spin-off is anticipated to be completed in H2 of 2026, Resideo added.
The company also said it expects to post fiscal Q2 financial results above the high end of its guidance range for $0.51 to $0.61 in non-GAAP earnings and $1.81 billion to $1.86 billion in net revenue. Analysts surveyed by FactSet are looking for $0.54 and $1.83 billion, respectively. Resideo is set to report quarterly results on Aug. 5.
