Teradyne Inc. has released its second quarter 2025 financial results, reporting a decrease in net income compared to the same period last year. The company's GAAP net income for Q2 2025 was $177.3 million, representing 13.3% of net revenues, compared to $250.5 million, or 18.8% of net revenues, in Q2 2024. The earnings per share $(EPS)$ for Q2 2025 was $1.10, down from $1.61 in the previous year. The gross margin also declined from 21.9% in Q2 2024 to 15.1% in Q2 2025. However, operating expenses for the quarter decreased to $373 million from $426 million in the same quarter last year. Looking ahead, Teradyne provided guidance for the third quarter of 2025, with expected GAAP revenue between $710 million and $770 million. The company also projected a GAAP net income per diluted share to range from $0.62 to $0.80.
