Yandal Resources (ASX:YRL) found gold mineralization during a recent drilling at its Ironstone Well-Barwidgee gold project in Western Australia, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The results were up to 11 meters at 1.4 grams per tonne gold from 71 meters, including six meters at 2.3 g/t gold from 72 meters.
The company has received results for the first 46 holes to date, with further results from the 132-hole program expected over the coming weeks.
The company said follow-up reverse circulation and air-core drilling is scheduled for August, and heritage surveys to clear tighter spaced drill lines are scheduled for late August and September.
The company's shares fell 4% on market close.
