Power Grid Corporation of India's (NSE:POWERGRID, BOM:532898) consolidated profit declined to 36.3 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal Q1 against 37.2 billion rupees a year ago.
Earnings per share stood at 3.67 rupees compared with 4.07 rupees a year earlier, the power transmission company said in a filing to the stock exchanges on Wednesday.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q1, however, increased to 112.0 billion rupees from 110.1 billion rupees a year earlier.
