Shares of Copper Miners Fall as Trump Exempts Refined Metal From Tariffs

Shares of copper miners fell in recent trading on Thursday after the price for the metal fell Wednesday after US President Trump exempted the imports of refined copper from tariffs.

Sandfire Resources (ASX:SFR) and Capstone Copper (ASX:CSC) fell 4% each.

Copper futures fell to about $4.5 per pound on Wednesday, down 1.1%.
