据每经，苹果中国官网显示，位于大连百年城的AppleStore店将于今年8月9日20:00停止营业。对于本次大连百年城直营店关闭的原因，7月29日午间，公司在一份声明中回应称：“鉴于大连百年城购物中心内多家零售商的离开，我们决定于8月9日关闭那里的零售店。”从声明来看，苹果此番决策似乎更多是出于外部商业环境的变动。另据一位知情人士透露：“大连百年城购物中心自2022年以来一直卷入诉讼，到今年2月，大股东已全面掌控租赁和运营事务。购物中心内几家知名零售商，包括Coach、Kenzo、MCM、UGG等在租约到期时都关闭了他们的门店。”
