Nomura's (TYO:8604, SGX:N33) net income attributable to shareholders for fiscal Q1 climbed 52% to 104.6 billion yen from 68.9 billion yen a year earlier, according to a Tuesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
Earnings per share rose to 34.04 yen from 22.36 yen a year ago.
Meanwhile, net revenue increased 15% year over year to 523.3 billion yen from 454.4 billion yen.
